Musical Talents

Emphasis on music is an important part of the Lewistown Presbyterian Church.

Members and friends of the church are encouraged to participate in our musical groups to enrich our worship services and enrich their own lives as well. There are opportunities for all ages.

Chancel Choir

Our talented Chancel Choir presents inspiring anthems at Sunday worship services throughout the fall, winter and spring.

Their presentation of an annual Christmas cantata is truly a special gift to the congregation.

The Chancel Choir, under the direction of Douglas N. Garner, is comprised of high school teenagers through adults. You are welcome, too! Rehearsals are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays.

Talented soloists and musicians provide special music in the summer months.

Children's Choir

All children from kindergarten and up are invited to participate in this choir. Their rehearsals are the first and last Sunday of the month during the morning worship service with Elaine Siddons as their director. They usually sing the second Sunday of the month.

Bell Choir

The bell choir, under the direction of Thomas Dixon, has recently been reactivated and is comprised of teenagers through adults. If you would like to "Make a joyful noise" with the bell choir, rehearsals are at 6:00 PM Wednesdays.
